How to Measure Your Inseam

1. You will need a firm medium to large size book, a measuring tape and a pencil.
2. Remove your shoes, YOU MUST BE BAREFOOT OR ONLY BE WEARING SOCKS!
3. Stand with your back straight against a wall.
4. With your feet at a natural stance, place the book spine up to your crotch at a comfortable but firm pressure to simulate where the inseam of your pants sit.
5. Keep the book parallel to the floor, keeping it at a 90 degree angle to the wall.
6. Place your fingertip where the top edge of the book hits the wall.
7. Get your pencil from your pocket and with a light stroke carefully mark the wall right at your fingertip.
8. Measure the distance from the floor to the pencil mark: THIS IS YOUR INSEAM!
9. TO CONFIRM ACCURACY, ALWAYS MEASURE TWICE TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SAME NUMBER.

If you have a friend it will be even easier! Follow all the instructions above, but no need to mark the wall with a pencil. Hold your finger on the wall firmly at the top of the book and your helper can measure from the floor to your fingertip. Make sure you don't move your finger!

A note about kneepad placement

Our workwear is designed with precisely positioned kneepads that rest comfortably at or just below the kneecap when you're standing. As you kneel, the pads
